2016 Dogs of Midtown Calendar Now Available at Three Dog Bakery

Twelve more months of furry fun mean even more impact ahead for the Nebraska Humane Society (NHS). This year’s “Dogs of Midtown” calendar – featuring 16 of Midtown Crossing’s most adorable pets – is now on sale, just in time for holiday gifting, exclusively at Three Dog Bakery’s midtown location, 3201 Farnam St.

“We are excited that the ‘Dogs of Midtown’ are back for a repeat performance!” said Pam Wiese, vice president-public relations and marketing, Nebraska Humane Society.

The all-new 2016 calendar sells for $10. Once again, 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the NHS and its mission to protect, save and enrich the lives of animals in our community. Last year’s inaugural calendar generated a donation of almost $1,300. Those funds supported the NHS’s animal medical fund to help provide life-saving surgeries, vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures for shelter pets.

“That help made it possible for many to get a second chance. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in creating and buying these calendars. You made it possible,” Wiese said.

Midtown Crossing residents and condominium owners nominate their pets for inclusion in the calendar. This year’s chosen sixteen (15 dogs and one bonus cat) were all photographed professionally.

“This is a win-win proposition,” said Molly Skold, Midtown Crossing’s vice president of marketing and communications. “Our residents love showing off their beloved pets. At the same time – and at the heart
