The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) wants to make sure local Parrott Heads are ready for a memorable evening with Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band September 1st at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
The ‘Margaritaville’ atmosphere will cause increased traffic in the downtown area and fans should plan ahead for venue entry and security screenings. Doors will open at approximately 6:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show. **There is no opening act. Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
MECA parking lots A, B, and D will open at 4 p.m. and be available for first-come, first-serve public parking. Parking is $8. Cash payment and the following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Tailgating festivities in these lots must end 90 minutes after the show. Vehicles towing any trailers, boats, or other items WILL NOT be permitted to enter the parking lots.
Midtown Crossing will be operating a free shuttle from 6:00 p.m. until one hour after the concert.
