Omaha, Neb. - The Midtown Living Tour, an afternoon-long celebration of the modern midtown lifestyle, enters its fourth year on Saturday, June 23, with more to experience than ever before.
From noon to 5:00 p.m.,guests will be able to walk through fully-furnished apartments and condominiums in seven different midtown communities. There is no charge to participate in the self-guided, open-house tour. Two trolleys, also free, will circulate between locations.
Participating communities include:
Combined, the seven communities on the tour represent more than 1,000 residential units.
“Midtown Omaha is building its reputation as a ‘best place to live.’ These apartments and condominiums – spacious, contemporary and full of amenities – demonstrate why. They’re attracting people back to our urban core and fueling the midtown resurgence we’ve been seeing,” said Todd Zimbelman, visionary/regional manager for Urban Village Development.
Three hours free parking with retailer validation is available in the Midtown Crossing parking garages.
For the first time, the Midtown Living Tour is being held in conjunction with Turner Park’s Zydeco Festival, presented by Sprint. The event pairing amounts to a novel, day-long celebration of music, community and midtown living. Also in its fourth year, the frenzy of foot-stompin’ zydeco music and Creole- and Cajun-style food will run from 3:00 – 10:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 23. As many as 10,000 guests are expected. This event is also free to the public.
